If you think a SWANS group might help, reach out and we will talk you through the next steps.
Cuppa and Connect is a gentle, informal online space to learn about grief and feel a little less alone. Over a warm drink, we share what grief can feel like, what is common, what can feel confusing, and the kinds of support that are out there.
It is a welcoming first step for anyone looking for information, reassurance, or a sense of connection while finding their way through loss.
- Free to join
- Every Thursday at 11am
- Held online, from wherever you are
A free Meet and Greet with our lead psychologist Dr Hellen Kemp is a brief online conversation of around ten to fifteen minutes. It is a chance to ask questions, learn about the support on offer, and talk through what might come next.
This is not a therapy session and does not involve any assessment or treatment. It is simply a gentle first step to help you feel informed and cared for as you choose the right support.
Dr Hellen Kemp is a registered psychologist who holds a doctorate in counselling psychology, with a wealth of experience supporting people through loss, grief, and trauma. She has researched grief deeply and has spent the past seven years working closely with the bereaved across aged care, loss related to violence and crime, and loss through suicide.
Hellen has supported many communities, including Indigenous and LGBTIQA+ individuals, and is an experienced grief group facilitator, educator, and supervisor of other practitioners.
