Care for children, adults and families, all in one place.
When something isn’t going well, it can be difficult to know what sort of help you need. You might be concerned about your child’s emotions, behaviour, learning or communication. You may be dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma or exhaustion yourself.
Our Bacchus Marsh clinic brings psychology and occupational therapy together. You don’t need a diagnosis to contact us, and you don’t need to work out the right service before you call. We can talk through what’s happening and help you decide where to begin.
Appointments are currently available.

We support people when everyday life feels harder than it should.
People come to us for many different reasons. A child may be struggling with big emotions, sensory sensitivities, attention, communication or school. An adult might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out or finding that everyday responsibilities have become harder to manage. Sometimes the concern is clear. Other times, you simply know that something isn’t working as well as it could. Either is a reasonable place to start.

Clinical assessments are currently being done from our Melton, Geelong and Ballarat clinics. They can help clarify what may be contributing to a person’s difficulties and inform decisions about treatment, school, work or other supports.

Care that starts with listening
Our values shape how we work with clients, families and the wider community. They’re not separate from the care we provide. They influence how we listen, how we make clinical decisions and how we work with the other people involved in your care.
What feels different here is the pace. We take the time to understand what’s really going on and explain it clearly, without rushing to conclusions or labels. Our approach is clinically grounded, practical, and shaped around real life, not ideals.
Request an AppointmentAuthenticity: we listen and speak honestly
Before suggesting treatment or assessment, we’ll ask about what’s been happening and how it’s affecting day-to-day life. For children, this may include what things are like at home, school and in social situations. You can expect open conversations, genuine interest and clear communication from us.
Excellence: we take our clinical responsibilities seriously
We bring care and sound clinical judgement to our work. Recommendations are based on the information available, the clinician’s professional expertise and what is likely to be useful in your circumstances. We’ll explain our observations and recommendations in straightforward terms and make time for your questions.
Innovation: we stay open to better ways of helping
Good care isn’t about applying the same solution to every person. We remain curious, consider different approaches and look for practical strategies that can make a difference. Advice needs to work in an actual household, classroom or workplace, so we take your routines, responsibilities and capacity into account.
We look for patterns, not blame
Behaviour and emotional responses usually make more sense when we understand what happens before, during and after them. Our focus is on understanding those patterns and identifying what may help.
Community: we work with the people around you
Health care rarely happens in isolation. With your consent, we can communicate with GPs, schools and other health professionals when this would make care more consistent or reduce the burden on you. We also value being part of the local communities our clinics serve.
What to expect in your first appointment
The first appointment gives you time to explain what has been happening, what you’ve already tried and what you’d like help with. You don’t need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clear plan. Your clinician will ask questions to understand the concern, how long it has been present and how it affects everyday life. They may offer some initial observations and discuss the options available to you.

During the session
We begin by listening.
You’ll have time to talk through your concerns and what daily life looks like right now, at a pace that feels comfortable.
We explore patterns together.
As the conversation unfolds, we gently look at factors that may be contributing to stress or difficulty.
We share what we’re noticing.
Our observations are explained clearly and respectfully, so nothing feels confusing or unexplained.
We finish with something practical.
You’ll leave with a few tailored ideas or strategies you can start using straight away.
Where appropriate, you’ll leave with practical ideas to try and a clearer recommendation about what could happen next. This might involve therapy, an assessment, another service or no further appointments at this stage.
